Alistair has over 13 years’ experience as a legal advisor, primarily as in-house counsel with BHP in Singapore, Chile and Perth and as a solicitor with Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills). He has worked across various sectors, including energy & petroleum, international commodities trading, resource exploration and construction.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics from Murdoch University.
